Can I get it serviced locally?
Official service networks and parts availability by country/region.

The short answer
A Chinese car is much easier to own when the brand has an official local distributor, trained technicians, diagnostic tools, and a visible parts process. Without those, even a good car can become inconvenient after a minor accident or software fault.
Dealer count alone is not enough. You need to know which locations can perform warranty work, high-voltage repairs, software updates, and body repairs.
What the data shows
Official brand sites, distributor pages, service booking portals, and warranty booklets are the strongest starting points. A sales-only showroom does not prove that parts and warranty support are mature.
Parts availability is often the ownership bottleneck. Common filters, tyres, brake parts, glass, sensors, body panels, and battery components should have clear ordering and lead-time processes.
For EVs and plug-in hybrids, diagnostics and software access matter. Independent garages may handle simple wear items, but warranty and high-voltage work usually require official tooling.
What to check before you buy
- Ask for the nearest authorized service center and whether it handles your exact model.
- Ask which parts are stocked locally and which are ordered from overseas.
- Confirm service intervals, software update process, roadside assistance, and warranty claim escalation.
- If buying from a non-official seller, ask who pays when the official distributor declines a warranty claim.
Market differences
UAE coverage may be strong in Dubai or Abu Dhabi but weaker in smaller emirates, so check service location before buying.
Australia buyers should map service coverage against their travel pattern, not only home city availability.
Singapore buyers have shorter driving distances, but official-agent support is still critical because tax-heavy ownership magnifies repair downtime risk.
