The cabin is impressively spacious for its exterior footprint, offering generous rear legroom and a flat floor that makes three-across seating genuinely comfortable. Ride quality is plush and well-damped, soaking up broken pavement with a maturity that rivals more expensive SUVs. The electric motor provides instant, smooth torque off the line, making city driving effortless.

When the battery is depleted, the petrol engine feels strained and vocal, especially under hard acceleration – fuel economy then drops to merely average for a compact SUV. The regenerative braking system lacks fine adjustment; the strong regen setting is abrupt, while the weak setting barely captures energy, so finding a comfortable middle ground takes time.
